McGuire Park Preview Hike [6:30PM]

Location: McGuire Park (120 Robey Road Tallmadge, OH) Robey Road is a private road used by several Tallmadge residents. Be respectful by not blocking any driveways. Parking is limited, please carpool if possible.

McGuire Park was donated to the Brimfield Township Parks Department by long-time Brimfield resident Tim McGuire in late 2022. This spectacular 40-acre property sits just behind Kohl’s department store on the border of Brimfield and Tallmadge and it hosts a variety of natural walking trails through wooded and grassy terrain, a 6-acre lake home to a variety of reptiles, amphibians, and waterfowl, and a small stone house which will one day be converted into a nature center. Currently the property may only be accessed through a private road located in Tallmadge, however plans are underway to secure access to the park through Brimfield. There is no time estimate for completion of an access road- or when the park will be open to the public.
